Ada Ernestine Milstead

Ada Ernestine Milstead, age 84, of Sones Chapel passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 14th at 3:30 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Walter Pierce will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sones Chapel Cemetery in Carriere, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, April 13th from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel.
Ada Ernestine moved to Sones Chapel in 1963, was a member of Marion Baptist Church and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by one son, Steve Milstead of Carriere six daughters, Shirley Cooper of McNeill Kathy Powe of Carriere Pat Beech of Carriere Robin Russ of Poplarville Tina Mooney of McNeillLynett Spear of Poplarville one brother, Edward White of Meridian two sisters, Frankie Thomley of Meridian Elois Whitehead of Meridian sixteen grandchildren thirty-four great-grandchildren two great-great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, George White and Bertha Scruggs White husband, Ben Thomas Milstead daughter, Tommie Ann Pearson brothers, Jack White Alton White Harold White sisters, Lois Molpus Anita Ivy
