Agnes Yvonne Fleming, beloved mother, sister, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, at the age of 95. Born on June 14, 1929, in Mississippi, Agnes was a lifelong resident of Picayune, where she nurtured her family and created a warm and loving home.

Agnes was a proud homemaker who dedicated her life to raising her children, Diane Brignac and Hayward Fleming Jr., and showering her grandchildren with love and affection. She took great joy in every moment spent with her family, exemplifying the true meaning of devotion. Agnes is survived by her children, son-in-law Rob Brignac, and her loving sisters, Rita Thames, Loucille Lee, and Louella Runnels, 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 25 great great grand children, 1 great great great grandchild, and 3 more expectant blessings.

As a faithful member of Salem Baptist Church, Agnes found strength and community in her faith, which she shared with all who knew her. Her kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on her family and friends.

A funeral service to honor Agnes’s remarkable life will be held at Lee's Chapel #2 Baptist Church, where family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her legacy. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Lee's Chapel #2 Cemetery, where she will find peace beside her loved ones.

Agnes Yvonne Fleming leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and faith that will be carried on in the hearts of those she cherished. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.

Agnes was preceded in death by: husband Hayward Fleming Sr, Father Simon Bounds, Mother Leander Bounds, Daughter-in-law Marie Fleming, Granddaughter Michelle Fleming, Great Granddaughter Ciara Smith, Sisters Bertha Lee Fleming and Alberta Whitfield, Brothers-in-laws Henry Thames, Pete Lee, Gene Runnels.
