Allen J. Kihnemann

Allen J. Kihnmann, Jr., of Carriere, Mississippi passed away March 4, 2019 at the age of 88.

Allen was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana where attended St. Aloysius, and was a graduate of Warren Easten High School, Class of 1950. He served in the National Guard (1950-1956) with the 141st Field Artillery Regiment. Allen was united in holy matrimony to Gloria Castigliola in 1954. He retired from Lockheed Martin in 1992.

Allen had many hobbies, but his love was customizing cars and boats. He also enjoyed fishing, sailing, going on vacations and boating of all kinds. His life was blessed with much love and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Gloria Castigliola Kihnemann of Carriere, Mississippi; his daughter, Kim Tuggle and her husband, William of Saucier, Mississippi; his son, Allen J. Kihnemann, III and his wife, Susan of Slidell, Louisiana; his grandchildren, William "B.J." Tuggle and Kathren "Katie" Dymen and her husband, Jake; his great-grandchildren, Brayden, Cali, Ethan, Zoey and Israel.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Memorial Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 12:00 Noon with Father Bernard Papania officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
