Alton "Dean" Woodard, age 71, of Carriere, MS passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.
A time of visitation will be held at Picayune Funeral Home on Monday, March 16, 2009 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Dean, a former resident of Pearlington, MS, was a produce wholesaler and a Baptist.
Dean is survived by his daughter, Deena Vlach of Texas; brothers, Emett, Robert, Jerry, Larry and Norman;
sisters, Omabelle, Ruby Lee Holman and Shirley; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emett H. & Carla Bell Woodard; brothers, Kenneth and Jessie; and
sister, Rosa Lee.
