Ameal Spiers, age 71, of McNeill passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Hancock Medical Center in Bay St. Louis.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 15th at 1:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Henley-Field Cemetery Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14th, 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home.
Ameal was a native of Pearl River County, a member of First Baptist Church of Henleyfield, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and worked in construction.
He is survived by his wife JoAnn Spiers of McNeill; two sons, Roger Dean Spiers of Tillery, North Carolina, David A. Spiers of Picayune; one daughter,Karen Mitchell of Perkinston; one brother, Thomas Randoll Spiers, Bay St. Louis ;ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ameal Spiers, Sr. & Oka Marie Burge Spiers; one brother, and four sisters.
