Anita Louise Stephens of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the age of 69 in the comfort of her home.
Anita was a longtime resident of Picayune and of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed being with her family and spending time with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Ashton L. Stephens, Jr.; daughter, Charlene Unbehagen and her children: Randall Unbehagen Jr., his wife Jodi and their children: Randall III, Rylee, and Remington. Brad Unbehagen and his wife Jordan. Cheyanne Torres, her husband Errol and their children: Brayden, Kynslie, Gemma and Leighann; son, Ashton Stephens III, his wife Stephanie and their children: Ashton Stephens IV, Jesse Stephens, Lukas Caruso, Aaron Stephens; son, Edward Stephens and his wife Gina and their child, Alison; brothers, Edward J. Moore, Jr. and James E. Moore (Sharon); sisters, Dorothy Mipro and Irene Hallal; sister-in-law, Danna Moore; brother-in-law, Wayne Turnbull.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Joseph Moore and Alvira Poncet Moore; brother, John J. Moore; sister, Barbara A. Turnbull; and brother-in-law, Bud Mipro.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. January 25, 2022, at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Picayune.
