Anthony Joseph Gisclair, Sr. of Tylertown, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, Sepember 23, 2020 at the age of 60.
Anthony J. "Black" Gisclair, Sr., the son of the late Madeline "Tut" Perrin and the late Calad "Plug" Gisclair, Jr, was born February 22, 1960. He was a native of Lafitte, Louisiana and relocated to Tylertown, Mississippi in 2009. Anthony was married to Kim Marre Leco Gisclair for forty years. Father to Angela (Jason) Etheridge, Belinda (Eric) Larson, Madeline Gisclair, Anthony (Katie) Gisclair, Jr.; grandfather of Makayla Leblanc, Makenzie, Madison, "Blue" Larson, Braedon Price and the late Phoenix Gisclair; brother to Calad Gisclair, III., Charles "Brown" Gisclair, Wyndell Martin (Norman), Debbie S. Piess (Tony), Tina Massey (the late Berney), Lisa (Walther) Dufour, and Royal Ann Moll.
Anthony was a well-known commercial fisherman, welder, carpenter, friend, brother, dad, husband, grandfather, uncle. He enjoyed the outdoors as he was a trained bowman, hunter and loved camping with his grandchildren. He was an avid storyteller and joker. During Hurricane Katrina, Rita, Gustav, and Ike, he stayed behind to help rescue people. He surely will be missed by everyone.
A Celebration of Life will be held by family October 17, 2020 from 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. at Salem House, 26008 Hwy 43 North, Picayune, MS 39466.
