Arnold Rodney Burns Sr.

Arnold Rodney Burns, Sr. of Picayune, Mississippi, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the age of 81.
Arnold was a Pearl River County Native and a member of Picayune Church of God. He enjoyed being retired, tinkering around the house and camping. Arnold was loved and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Rosemary Tate; sons, Arnold Rodney Burns, Jr (Tessa), and Phillip Wayne Burns (Raven); stepsons, Byron Douglas Tate (Kim) and Eastman Tate; stepdaughter, Cynthia Tate; sister, Rosalee Davis; and four grandchildren.
He is preceded by his parents, William and Ida Burns; brothers, WL Burns, JD Burns, Thomas Burns, Herbert Ray Burns, and Willie Merle Burns; sisters, Pauline Entrekin and Maudine Burns.
Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023, at Picayune Church of God. Services begin at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
