Audrey Mae Burnette Stone

Audrey Mae Burnette Stone, a woman of profound faith and fierce devotion to her family, departed from this world on April 12th, 2024, at the age of 83. She leaves behind a legacy that spans generations, forever etched in the hearts of her loved ones.

Audrey is survived by her cherished grandchildren and their spouses: James Stone and his wife Chynna, Debbora Losch and her husband Felix, along with their child, Audrey's great-grandchild, Arianna. Additionally, she leaves behind her adopted children and their families: David and Mary Chidlow and their children Jennifer and John, as well as Charissa Banks and her children Jessica, Jamie, and Taylor.

A woman of indomitable spirit, Audrey embraced life with the gusto that her late husband, James, so admired. She lived by one of his favorite quotes, embodying its essence with every breath: "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming 'Wow! What a Ride!'"

Though her physical presence may be absent, Audrey's spirit remains a guiding light for her family. As she reunites with her beloved husband and children in heaven, her memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
