Barbara A. Fishback, age 72, of Picayune passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 26th at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Bro. Tim Mims officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Barbara, a native of Illinois, has lived in the area for 30 years. She loved to paint and continued to paint throughout her time of illness. Barbara dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a housewife and a Baptist.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, James H. Fishback of Picayune; four sons, Rick (Phyllis) Fishback of Carriere, Charles (Donna) Fishback of Carriere, Gary (Lori) Fishback of Carriere and Don Fishback of Carriere: two daughters, Sherry Lee of Picayune and Jamie (Dennis) Morgan of Taylor, SC; twelve grandchildren, Marvin, Richard, Chris, Amy, Ashlee, Shawn, Lacy, Tanner, Brent, Blake, Casey & Clay; and two great-grandchildren, Brady and Colt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LA/MS Hospice Care, 770 Gause Blvd., Ste. C., Slidell, LA 70458, in memory of Barbara A. Fishback.
