Betty J. Roddy Fitch, 87, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
Mrs. Fitch was born April 15, 1935 in Galvez, Louisiana. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Roddy; her first husband, Tracy McCrory; her second husband, Robert Fitch, Jr.; one son, Michael Wayne McCrory; and one sister, Joyce Bearden .
Family members include two children, Terry McCrory (Rose), Susan Bassett (Arthur "Butch"); Raymond Waltman, R.J. Waltman, Tony Waltman, Butch Bassett, III; great grandchildren, Parker Waltman, Dalton Waltman, Ray Waltman, Jr., Locke Waltman, Anthony Lisotta, Shelbie Harvie; one great-great grandson, Silas Garcia.
Funeral services will be held at Picayune Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in New Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
The family would like to thank Michelle, Moe, Paula, Tyler, Christine, Dan, Susie, and Mike for being so good, kind, and loving to our Mother. God Bless you all!
