Billy Everette McCrory, age 77, of Nicholson passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at his residence.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 9th at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Nicholson, followed immediately by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. R. T. Buckley officiating. Burial will be at Turtleskin Cemetery.
Billy, a native of Hattiesburg, moved here thirty-four years from Kenner, LA. He was a crane operator and member of Operating Engineers Local Union #406. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Nicholson and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Tressie McCrory of Picayune ;two sons, David McCrory of Picayune and Gary McCrory of Picayune ;one daughter, Sheila Davis of Picayune;one brother, Raybon McCrory of Picayune; one sister, Dartiss Babb of Picayune;seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, Noah & Nettie McCrory ;his sister, Louise Carter.
