Billy Wayne McDuffie, age 59, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Cedrick Lumpkin officiating. Burial will be at Sycamore Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. McDuffie was a lifetime resident of Pearl River County, a carpenter, and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jarrell McDuffie of Carriere; three daughters, Julia Souders ( Chris) of Carriere, Kasey McCullough (Matt) of Odessa, Texas, and Kimberly McDuffie (Paul Guchereau) of Gulfport; one brother, William Jerry McDuffie of Picayune; two step-brothers, Ronnie Lindsey (Paula) of Picayune, and Johnny Lindsey (Lil Dee) of Louisiana; two sisters, Micky Stockstill of Picayune, and Becky Martin of Picayune; one step-sister, Deanie Lindsey Stout (Ronnie) of Poplarville; eight grandchildren, Maddix Bennett, Abigail Guchereau, Mickayla Souders, Mackenzie Souders, Trevor McCullough, Logan McCullough, Brody McCullough, and Tatum McCullough; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Houston McDuffie; mother, Ruth Smith McDuffie; step-mother, Doris Frierson McDuffie; one brother, Eugene McDuffie; one sister, Myrtle McDuffie Edge; and two step-brothers, Danny Lindsey, and Donald Lindsey. ***Please note his brother William Jerry McDuffie passed away Friday one day after Billy.
