Billy Wayne Wheat, age 49, of Picayune passed awayWednesday, February 27, 2008 at Highland Community Hospital in Picayune.
The funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6th at 3:00 p.m. at First United Pentecostal Church of Crossroads, with Bro. Shadrach Barnett officiating.
Visitation will be at held Thursday, March 6th at the church from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the First United Pentecostal Church Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Billy Wayne was a lifetime resident of Picayune and a construction worker.
He is survived by his parents, Billy Ray Wheat and June Lee Wheat of Picayune; son, Michael Wheat of Picayune; daughter, Amanda Campbell of Gulfport; brother, Harry Wheat of Kiln; three sisters, Betty Davis of Picayune, Mable Adcox of Picayune and Belinda Shields of Carriere; and three grandchildren, Kennedy Kate Wheat, Kyler Cade Wheat and Dallas Lynn Buras.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kathleen Wheat and son, Cody Ryan Wheat.
