Bob Steele Penton, age 67, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2014 at Picayune Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Penton was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, lifetime resident of Picayune, a welder, a member of local 60, and a member of Church of The Way.
He is survived by his wife, Judith J. Penton; children, Stephen Daniel Penton, Kristy Penton Lewis, and Ron Haven Penton; step-children, Renee Deville Ingram, and Thomas Paul Deville; sibilings, Gloria Nell Eckels, W.B. Penton, Wilmer Tex Penton, Johnny Mack Penton, Mary-Ann Blevins, Monta Howe Penton, and Martha Sue Burge; grandchildren, Devin McIntosh, Tristen Lewis, Ian Lewis, Skylar Penton, Robert Penton, Bobby Penton, John Robert Lewis, Jenny Lewis, Hailey Ingram, Lynsey Ingram, and Aidan Deville; and a great-grandson, Robert Lewis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Belmer Penton; son, Robert Wayne Penton; and sister, Peggy Dale Tuttle.
