Brenda Lea Acosta

Brenda Lea Acosta (62) of Carriere, Mississippi went into eternal rest on Monday October 7, 2024.

Brenda was born in Louisiana on May 16, 1962 to parents Harry DeRouen and Sandra Smith.

She was a stay-at-home mother who enjoyed spending time with her family, loving on her dog, and feeding squirrels and birds.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father Harry DeRouen and brother Harry DeRouen Jr.

Brenda’s memory will be cherished by her son Derek DeRouen (Crystal), daughters Tina Acosta, Lori Fabra, sister Gidget DeRouen, grandchildren Justin, Jacob, Jonathan, Austin, Anna, Hezekiah, Mariah, Avery, and great-grandchild Haisley.

A Celebration of Life for Brenda will take place on Saturday October 12, 2024 at 11AM at Picayune Funeral Home located at 815 S. Haugh Ave. Picayune, MS 39466.

Visitation begins at 10AM.

All arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
