Brenda Ladner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Brenda Gertrude Ladner, age 69, passed peacefully March 10, 2025 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. She was born and raised in Bay St. Louis Mississippi to her mother Lillie Bermond Asher and father Shelton Bermond. Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She dedicated most of her work to running the house while raising her three children. She also spent time working in a factory and substitute teaching. She was adored for her kindred soul, positive outlook, and welcoming spirit to everyone around her. Brenda enjoyed cleaning her house, completing crossword puzzles, and enjoying lunch at Da Kitchen Too restaurant daily. She was known by many and loved by all.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Ladner, father Shelton Bermond, mother Lillie Bermond Asher, and sister Sandy Bermond Rood.

Brenda’s memory will be cherished by her children Schalissa Ladner (Godfried), Schran Ladner (Stephanie), and Schman Ladner, siblings Mike Bermond (Patty), Wayne Bermond, Peggy Jacobson (John), Joe Bermond, and grandchildren Felicia Ladner, Danielle Ladner, Kaylan Ladner, Kayde Ladner (Lance), and great grandchildren Acelynn Ladner, Laelynn Ladner, and Anijah Harper.

A celebration of life and final blessing will be officiated by Jamie Ladner and will be held at Picayune Funeral Home on Friday March 14, 2025 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will take place at 2:00PM.
