Carlie Oliver Spiers

Carlie Oliver Spiers, age 71, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019, in Picayune.
Carlie retired as Sales Operations Manager with Rex Distributing Company in Gulfport, Mississippi, where he worked for over forty years. He was a longtime member and past president of Millbrook Country Club and played golf there for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and vegetable gardening. He was also an avid Maroon Tide football fan. Carlie was of the Catholic faith. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Branch Spiers of Picayune; one son, Jamie Spiers; two daughters, Carla Spiers and Joni (Todd) Miller; one brother, Benny Spiers; two sisters, Regina (Ronnie) Spiers Stockstill and Rita Quick, sister-in-law, Kathy Spiers and three grandchildren: Hughie Miller, Ellie Miller and Ryder Spiers.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James Oliver Spiers and Kathleen Puyper Spiers, a brother, Boby Spiers and a sister, Melody Spiers.
