Carol Ann Lawson of Terre Haute, Indiana and a resident of Carriere, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the age of 64.
Carol was a longtime resident of Carriere. She received her bachelor's degree and continued out her career as a Hospice Caretaker, Bereavement Counselor and a social worker. Carol loved BBQ's, campfires, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Misty Massey (Chris), Angela Reed (Sherman), April Sullivan (Brian), and Lacy Lawson; brothers, John Mattox and Daniel Mattox; sister Connie Cotton; six grandchildren: Brandon, Ashlyn, Jeslynn, Mikah, Faith, Madison, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Mattox and Ruth Mattox; three brothers and two sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held by family at a date to be announced.
