Charles W. Blose, Sr., age 76, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at New Henleyfield Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at New Henleyfield Baptist Church with Bro. R.T. Buckley and Bro. Ray Allen officiating. Burial will be at Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Blose graduated from Renovo High School in 1958. He was Veteran of the U.S. Army and and 20 year Veteran of the U.S. Airforce, and a member of New Henleyfield Baptist Church.
He is survived by wife, Violet Lawyer Blose; three sons, Charles W. Blose, Jr. and his wife Robin of Florida, James Blose of Florida, Jeffery Blose and his wife Dana of Indiana; step-daughter, Leslie Demmy and her husband Harvey of Pennsylvania; one sister, Frances Blose Ohls of South Carolina; granddaughter, Hayley Blose; 7 step-grandchildren; and 9 step-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in by his parents George and Agnes Blose; and his first wife, Donice Langston Blose.
