Charles "Brown" Joseph Gisclair, Sr. of Lafitte, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the age of 59.
Charles was a native of Lafitte and of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed fishing, drinking coffee with the coffee crew at Jean Lafitte Harbor and lunch with the lunch crew at Boutte's. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and when the baby son of the family was born, he was proud that he had one that was dark like him.
He is survived by his children, Charles "Lil' Charlie" (Karen) Gisclair, Shantel (Wilder) Cardonna, Johnathan Gisclair, and Michael (Valerie) Gisclair; siblings, Lisa (Walter) Dufour, Debbie (Tony) Spiess, Wynell (Norman) Martin, Tina (Late Burney) Massey, and Royal Ann Moll; grandchildren: Jared, Kenny, Gabriel, Aliyah, Hanna, Issac, Tyson, Gauge, Michael, Shane, Dylan, and Victoria.
He is preceded in death by his late wife, Debbie Gisclair; parents the late Calad Gisclair and the late Madeline Perrin Gisclair; grandparents, the late Clyde Gisclair, late Beuliah Gisclair, late Wagner and Agnes Perrin; siblings, "Gilligan" Calad Gisclair and late Judy Gisclair; Late "AJ" Anthony Gisclair Sr. (Kim Gisclair); great-grandchild, late Autumn Verdin.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date in Laffitte, Louisiana.
