Charles Kirk Johnson, age 78, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at his residence.
No services will be held at this time.
Mr. Johnson was a resident of Picayune for 39 years, a former print press operator for Memphis newspaper, and a member of Union Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Winnie G. Johnson of Picayune; one son, Kirk Johnson of Picayune; one daughter, Cordia Walters of Picayune; one brother, Steve Andrews of Columbus; three sisters, Frances Merrill of Dodge City, Iowa, Carol Jackson of Columbus, and Vivian Norris of Picayune; three grandchildren, Aiden Gregory Johnson, Taylor Lee Walters, and Jalyn Catherine Walters.
He is preceded in death by his father, Byron Johnson, Sr.; mother, Faye Bernice Stewart Andrews; four brothers, Stewart Riley Andrews, Beamon Andrews, C.E. Sonny Andrews, and Byron Roland Johnson, Jr.
