Charles Vernal Lee, age 79, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 at Picayune Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Pearson Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Lee was a lifetime resident of Pearl River County, a former truck driver, and a member of Union Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Paulette St. Amand (Bob) of Carriere, and Sheila Lee Westbrook of Carriere; sisters, Alice Lee Slater of Oregon, and Gladys Lee Strain of Ceasar; 8 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe R. Lee and Meadie Bounds Lee; wife, Loretta Lyle Lee; son, Charles Marty Lee, Sr.; brother, Joey Lee; sister, Joann Lee Strain; grandson, Charles Marty Lee, Jr.; and great-grandson, Colt Jessie Westbrook.
