Christopher James Wilson, age 41, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Chris was born on September 24, 1976 in Kankakee, Illinois. He was the precious son of Sherry Fishback and the late Adrian "Skip" Wilson. In 1994, he graduated from Picayune Memorial High School. He was employed as a technician at Rooms To Go in Pearl River, Louisiana.
He enjoyed basketball, fishing, listening to music and fixing things. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Max. He was proud to be "Uncle Bubba" to his nephews and was a good friend who loved making people laugh.
He is survived by his loving mother, Sherry Fishback; sisters Amy (Josh) Robertson and Misty Wilson; uncles Rick (Phyllis) Fishback, Charles (Donna) Fishback, Gary Fishback, Don Fishback, Chuck Wilson, Darroll Wilson, and Carroll Wilson; aunts Jamie (Dennis) Morgan, Tammy Carlon, and Brenda McLain; nephews Brady and Colt Robertson.
He is preceded in death by his father, Adrian "Skip" Wilson, and his grandparents, James and Barbara Fishback, and Charlie and Freda Wilson.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 1pm at Picayune Funeral Home and a Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pearl River County SPCA.
