Clinton Wayne Mitchell , age 67, of Picayune, MS passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at Highland Community Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine.
Clinton was a life time resident of Picayune, a logger, and a member of Westlawn Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Cathy Lee Mitchell of Picayune; One son Randy Mitchell of Picayune; Two daughters, Melissa Gill of Picayune and Amanda Mitchell of Picayune; One brother, Roger D. Mitchell of Picayune; Nine grandchildren, Jacob Mclendon, Landry Mclendon, Skylar Campbell, Scarlett Ferguson, Quinton Mitchell, Colton Mitchell, Caleb Mitchell and Katelyn Mitchell.
He is preceded in death by his parents Elijah Mitchell and Gertrude Walker Mitchell; three brothers Douglas Mitchell, Ferris Mitchell and Darris Mitchell; one sister, Nell Dyson; one grandson Devin S. Mitchell.
