Daniel Sidney Braun

Daniel Sidney Braun, Sr., age 78, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 17, 2015
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Christian Life Assembly of God. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Lonnie O'Quinn officiating. A reception will follow the services at Christian Life Assembly of God.
Mr. Braun was a retired Police Officer from the Gretna Police Department, was a resident of Pearl River County for 36 years, and was a native of Gretna, Louisiana.
He is survived by his son, Dan Braun, Jr. and his wife Wendy of Poplarville, Mississippi; daughters, Glenda deLeaumont and her husband Jay of Kenner, Louisiana, Diane Stevens and her husband Kurt of Destrehan, Louisiana, Wendy VonderBruegge and her husband George of Isabelle, Louisiana, and Denise Forbes and her husband Johnny of Sandy Hook, Mississippi; sister, Dorothy Schmidt of Metairie, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jayson deLeaumont, Demi deLeaumont, Cami Hart, Trey Schloegel, Kristin Schloegel, Dustin Schloegel, Keely Sones, Ricky Ladner, Daylen Ard, and Ashley Braun; and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frederich J. Braun and Josephine Braun; wife, Barbara Fay Braun; brother, John F. (Fritz) Braun; and sister, Florence Rousselle.
