Daniel "Danny" Michael Martin, age 81, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his residence.
Daniel was a longtime resident of Picayune. He was in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He was an active member of the 101st Airborne Division Association and enjoyed attending the annual reunions. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and visited every state in the US. He loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Martin; one son, Daniel Martin, Jr.; one daughter, Melissa Martin Bryant (James); one brother, Ronnie Martin; three sisters, Sonia Martin, Sue Martin, and Paula Martin; one brother-in-law, Mark A. Veazey; two grandchildren, Tony Creppel and Andrew Bryant; one great-grandchild, Makynli Creppel; several nieces and nephews, Nieces, Carla Cosper (Sammy), Julie Buckner, Roxanne Comardelle (Rory), Nephews, Jack Buckner (Carole)
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Joseph Martin, Jr. and Lydia Verdin Martin; and late Ronald Martin, Jr.
