Dave Davis, Jr.
Dave Davis, Jr. of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the age of 91.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Oren Spence officiating. Burial will be in Turtleskin Cemetery.
Dave was a lifelong resident of Picayune and member of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ House of Prayer.
He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Mayo of Florida, Patricia Frierson of Carriere, Mississippi, Brenda Gandy of Florida and Linda Crowe of Pearl River, Louisiana; his sister, Estell Watkins of Louisiana; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean Mitchell Davis; his parents, Dave Davis, Sr. and Ruth E. Wood Davis; brother, George Davis; sisters, Marthy Dawsey and Anne Marie Dawsey.
