David Raymond Cooley, age 70, of Carriere passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Slidell Memorial Hospital, Slidell, LA.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 3:00 PM at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
David, a native of New York, moved to this area from New Jersey six years ago. He retired from the U. S. Air Force, was the Director of Receiving at Time-Warner Cable and was a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen Cooley of Carriere; son, Richard David (Dahlia) Cooley of Springhill, WA;
two daughters, Kristina (John) Alexander of Carriere and Patricia Longo of Eustace, TX; five grandchildren, Ashley, Nathaniel, Aaron, Ronnie Paul and Lakishia and four great grandchildren, Krystal, James, Taylor and Mallory.
