David Carson Whitley

David Carson Whitley, Sr. of Wiggins, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the age of 51.

David was born in Jackson, Mississippi and spent his later years in South Mississippi. He loved woodworking, fishing and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed watching Ole Miss and Notre Dame football. He loved his family and his dog, Max. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Dona Whitley; parents, Jimmy Whitley, Sr. and Patricia Whiltley; one son, David Whitley, Jr. (Jessie); one daughter, Courtney Whitley Thomas (Joe); two brothers, Jimmy Whitley, Jr. (Lucy) and Michael Whitley (Lisa); one sister, Tammy King (Mike); two grandchildren, Derrick Autin and Brayden Whitley; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Picayune Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Turtleskin Cemetery.
