Delia Elaine Lee, age 74, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 7:15 p.m.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glenn Kennedy and Sister Bobbie Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at Lee's Chapel #2 under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home
Mrs. Lee was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and friend. She was a lifetime resident of Picayune, a homemaker, and a member of Cedar Hill House of Prayer.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joel Lee of Picayune; three sons, Joey "Ug" (Cecilia) Lee of Picayune, Jody (Hope) Lee of Picayune, and Jason (Christy) Lee of Picayune; one daughter Gina Mitchell of Picayune; two brothers, Jessie Woods, Jr. of Pearlington, and Kim Woods of Nicholson; one sister, Beverly Varnado of Picayune; nine grandchildren, B.J. Lee, Aaron Lee, Keri Lee Mitchell, Adam Knowles, Georgie Mitchell, Brittany Whitaker, Cody Lee, Kyle Lee, and Cassey Lee; and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Woods, Sr., and Vera Dawsey Woods.
