Dominic Anthony Bruce

Dominic Anthony Bruce of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the age of 51, in the comfort of his home.

Dominic was born in New Orleans Louisiana. He was an avid fisher and hunter. He had a generous heart for all and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cherie Bruce of Slidell, Louisiana; one son, Nicholas Anthony Bruce (Celeste) of Waggaman, Louisiana; One daughter, Kailyn Marie Bruce (Michael) of Orange, Texas; two brothers: Michael P. Bruce (Sharon) of Avondale, Louisiana, and James J. Bruce (Darlene) of Picayune, Mississippi; two sisters: Gail Jacob (Glenn) of Covington, Louisiana, and Dianne Barrett (Tommy) of Wilma, Louisiana; Nine grandchildren: Sean, Sophie, Connor, Hunter, Haidyn, Karson, Alison, Chelsey, Emily.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Gilbert J. Bruce, Sr. and Mary St. Angelo Bruce; three brothers: Gilbert J. Bruce, Jr., Ronald A. Bruce, Wayne Bruce.

Visitation will be held at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Services will follow at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.

Dominic's favorite color is red and has requested red to be worn to the service.
