Donald was a lifelong resident of Pearl River County, a member of West Union Baptist Church and an Offshore Rigger.
Donald is survived by his children, Jarred E. Palmer and Salina Palmer Craft of Picayune, Mississippi; his sisters, Virginia Lavigne and Carolyn Smith of Carriere, Mississippi; and grandchildren, Derrick Houston, Erica Houston, and Daniel Palmer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Palmer and Maggybelle Stockstill Palmer.
