Doris Deal Snell of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the age of 72.
Doris was a longtime resident of Picayune, Mississippi and a member of Unity Baptist Church. She worked as a Library Technician for Picayune School District and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She was known as the E T.V. Lady amongst her fellow coworkers. She enjoyed teaching the children at church and gardening. Doris and her husband Bill had a lifelong love. They were childhood sweethearts and were married for more than fifty-five Years. She was a loving Wife, Momma, and Nana. She will be missed by her family and countless friends.
She is Survived by her husband, William Halsey Snell, Jr. of Picayune, Mississippi; mother, Ola Ray Deal; two daughters, Doris Day "DeDe" Snell and Jennifer Rae Snell; son in law Steven E. Rasco; brother, E. Eugene Deal; sister, Betty Sandow; grandchildren, Alyssa Day Hand, Jessica Rae Delahoussaye, James Joseph "J.T." Theriot, Jennifer Rene "Ren" Theriot; four great-grandchildren; many friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Earl E. Deal; sister, Velma Deal; and grandson, William "Wil" Russell Rasco.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date due to the Covid-19.
