Doris Dill Spiers of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 97.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019 in the Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Young officiating. Burial will be at Carriere Cemetery.
Doris was a lifelong resident of Picayune, a retired nurse and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cairy B. Spiers, Leo A. Hladky and Dixie E. Russell; her sister, Jane Ann Mitchell; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bryant Dill and Nellie Price Dill; her husband, Gairy Spiers; brothers, E.B. Dill, Robert "Cotton" Dill and Billy Dill; sisters, Dixie E. Ford and Jewel Giadrosich.
In lieu of flowers a donation in memory of Doris may be made to Roseland Park Baptist Church.
