Dorothy Jeanette Bennett of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the age of 83 in the comfort of her home.
Dorothy was a resident of Picayune for the last eighteen years and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed watching T.V. and loved sitting outside being surrounded by nature.
She is survived by one son, Jason Bennett (Mindi) of Spanish Fort, Alabama; three daughters, Linda Theady (Bubba) of Picayune, Mississippi, Kaye Maynard (Kenny) of Picayune, Mississippi and Faye Verdin of Lafitte, Louisiana; one sister, Libby Stewart (Doug); eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Bennett; parents, Homer and Annie Davis.
A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. located at Lee's Chapel #2 Cemetery.
