Dorothy Leatrice Ryals Porter born 11/13/1927 in Wilmer, AL went to her heavenly home on 8/14/2013 at the age of 85.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James E. Porter and children, Linda Porter Sparks and spouse Jerry of Houston, Texas, Patricia Porter Hembree of Lucedale, Mississippi and John L. Porter and spouse Judi of Mobile, Alabama; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother Willard Ryals of Port Barre, Louisiana; niece, Gloria Louque of Paulina, Louisiana; nephew, David Wayne Ryals of Clinton, Louisiana; and numerous relatives and friends.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Picayune, Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to your favorite charity in her memory.
Memorial services will be he held at Picayune Funeral Home in Picayune, Mississippi on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Burial will be held at a later date at Howell Cemetery in Howell Community, Mississippi.
