Dorothy Jeanne Lewis Slade, age 71, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
A graveside memorial service will be held at New Palestine Cemetery on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home. Dr. Keith Warden will officiate the services.
Mrs. Slade was a lifetime resident of Picayune, a former dental assistant, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune.
She is survived by her cousins, Dr. Sarah P. Sanders of Columbus, Mississippi, and Dr. Lewis Alexander of Gulfport, Mississippi; friends and caretakers, Keith and Linda Malone of Picayune, Mississippi.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Ocie Vernon Lewis, Sr., and Jo Leigh Hand Lewis.
