Douglas Edward Ryals, age 65, of Picayune passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Slidell Memorial Hospital, Slidell, LA.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 15th at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with Father Mike Snyder officiating at the service. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 15th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Douglas, a native of Louisiana, moved to Picayune from New Orleans, LA twenty years ago. He was a civil engineer with the LA Dept. of Highways and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Angelina Ryals of Picayune; son, Kristopher Ryals of Picayune;
daughter, Jennifer Bingham of Picayune; two sisters, Deborah Lambert of New Orleans Jeanne Fontenot of New Orleans; and two grandchildren.
