Dovil Stockstill

Dovil Stockstill of Picayune, Mississippi went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at the age of 89.
Dovil was a long-time resident of Picayune, Mississippi. He was a church member of Cedar Hill House of Prayer. He was a carpenter by trade and a crafter at building furniture. Dovil loved playing the guitar and fellowship for others to sing. He will be deeply missed by many family and friends.
Dovil is survived by his wife Lona Stockstill of Picayune, Mississippi; one son, Norman Ray Stockstill (Sabrina); three daughters, Diane Pittman (Cecil), Kathy Lee (Daniel), Karen Ott (Johnny); Sister-in-law, Fran Stockstill; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Zealous Stockstill and Bertha Davis Stockstill; two sons, Norval Stockstill and Kenneth Stockstill.
Visitation will be held at Picayune Funeral Home Thursday, October 10, 2019
2:00p.m.- 3:00p.m. Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow to New Palestine Cemetery.
