Edward Kenneth Hungerford

Edward passed way Friday, April 26, 2013 at the age of 81.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Picayune Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
He was the cherished husband of Mavis Hungerford, loving father of Edward Hungerford, Jr., Darlene St. Germain and the late Bonnie Vaccaro. Stepfather of Debra Blanco, Kathleen Kern, William Guillot, Craig Guillot, Melanie Thome and Monica English. Son of the late, Glenn and Inga Hungerford. Brother of William Hungerford, Merle Smith and the late Harold Hungerford and Roy Hungerford. Proud Grandfather of seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Ed enjoyed a long career at Kaiser Aluminum after serving his country in the U.S. Army. He was a Mason at the Andrew Jackson Lodge in Arabi. He was longtime resident of St. Bernard and in 1980 moved to Carriere, MS.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.
