Edwin I Mahoney Iii

Edwin Mahoney passed away peacefully in his home. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Those who knew him know he never met a stranger and was always willing to share the Gospel with anyone that would listen. He faithfully served at Resurrection Life Church in numerous ways until he was physically unable to attend.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Mahoney, his daughters, Sandy Rabalais (Danny), Karen Mahoney, his son, Edwin R. Mahoney, stepdaughter, Tammy Schexnayder (Tracy Everett). Sisters, Ruth Mahoney, and Mary Murray. Sister-in-law, Mona Parker (Kyle), brothers in law, Doug and Andy Lawrence.

Grand Children, Shana Mays (Amos), Ariele Schexnayder (Anibal Colon’), Joseph Schexnayder, Rachel Rabalais, Andrew Mahoney, “adopted grand” Glen Palmisano. Great Grands, Timothy Schexnayder, Cameron Hoskins, Liam Palmisano, Mehaloni Colon’, Lyrah Colon’.

Numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and former co-workers.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Mahoney, daughter, Katherine Mahoney, brothers, Robert and James Mahoney, sisters, Ann Dragna and Jeanne McCollister.

Special thanks to Enhabit Hospice Staff, Jennifer Hoda, Amiee Wells, Peyton Lee, Chaplain Jacob Gill. The care you gave him will never be forgotten. Special friends, Richard Anthony, Lou Miller, Bobby Kelly, Jac Coleman and Toni Jurich. Members of RLM that are too numerous to mention. Each of you held a special place in his heart.

The family will always be grateful for all the prayers, calls, food, and visits over the past 14 months.
