Emmitt was born on April 26, 1943 in Bright, MS, to Olin Rhoda and Alice Laughter Rhoda.
He married Peggy Rhoda and was happily married for 57 years.
Emmitt enjoyed spending his time fishing, waxing his truck, spending time with his beloved family, and he belonged to Jesus Christ.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Emmitt's memory will be cherished by his wife Peggy Rhoda, sons Gregory Rhoda(Tonya), Grant Rhoda(Sharon), daughter Stephanie Cope, brothers Marvin Rhoda, Jerry Rhoda, grandson Jordan Rhoda(Michelle) , and great-grandson Elijah Rhoda.
