Eva Mae Jones

Eva Mae Knight Jones, 88, of Henleyfield, Mississippi passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at her daughter's home. She was surrounded by family and friends. Mrs. Jones was a resident of Henleyfield, Mississippi for the past 20 years, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mrs. Della Copper Knight and Mr. Samuel Joseph Knight, husband, Malvin Jones, one daughter, Ruby Jean Jones Broadhead, one son Larry Wayne Jones, two brothers, Ralph Knight, Leslie Knight, four sisters, Mary, Elisle Ruth, Corelee and Algie, and one great-grandchild, Sara.

Survivors include: three sons, Alvin Jones (Adrianne), Mike Jones (Gwen), Doyle Jones (Belinda), two daughters, Shelia Wells and Glenda Necaise, 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 11, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
