Evelyn Marie Dean

Evelyn Marie Dean, born on March 10, 1954 passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, at the age of 70. Evelyn was known for loving and compassionate nature, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, cherishing every moment together.

Evelyn leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her children Dawn Billingham, Jayne Ann Billingham, Charlene Guidroz, Chad Billingham, and Christal Utely; 10 grand children; and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother, a sister, a lifelong best friend, Germaine Thompson.

Evelyn was preceded in death by beloved husband Charles Dean, her parents Luke and Evelyn Wofford, a grandchild, three brothers, and four sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Evelyn's memory.

Evelyn's warmth and generosity touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
