Flora Mae Walker, 89, of Picayune, Mississippi, died on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at her residence.
Ms. Walker was born February 10, 1934 in Lincoln County, Mississippi.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Annie Lou Varnado Smith; a son, David William Holland, Jr.; siblings, Opal Sandrich, Jeanette Williamson, G.W. Smith, Elmer Harold Smith, Tommy Smith, Leroy Smith, James Smith, Edgar Ray Smith, and Kenneth Smith.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Kararick; a brother, Donald Smith; grandchildren, Jeffrey Kararick, Ben (Katherine) Kararick; great grandchildren, Mary George, Dominic Kararick, Donovan Kararick, Olivia Kararick, Isabella Kararick; and one great-great grandson, River James George.
Funeral services will be held at Picayune Funeral Home (815 S Haugh Ave, Picayune, MS, 39466) on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Lee's Chapel, No. 1 Cemetery (11 Herb Lee Fred Spiers Road, Carriere, MS, 39426). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
