Forrest Eugene Thigpen

Forrest Eugene Thigpen, age 61, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Ochsner Northshore Hospital.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Lakeshore Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Thigpen was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines, a lifelong resident of Picayune, a diesel mechanic, and a member of Grace Chapel Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cinda Thigpen of Picayune; mother, Amanda Thigpen; four sons, Corey (Kelly) Thigpen of Missouri, Doug (Susan) Thigpen of Pass Christian, Richard (Ramona) Thigpen of Carriere, Jeremy (Nikki) Thigpen of Saucier; two brothers, James Thigpen, and Thomas Bilbo; four sisters, Barbara Thigpen, Nancy Wright, Sue Thigpen, and Linda Hill; and thirteen grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Forrest Thigpen; and one son, Michael Netto, Jr.; brothers, Herman Thigpen, William Thigpen, Patrick Thigpen, David Thigpen, and Johnny Thigpen.
