Frances Jeanette "Jean" Moore, age 83, of Picayune, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 6th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Church of Christ, with Bro. David McLean officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery.
Jean, a native of Joaquin, Texas, moved here from Venice, Louisiana thirty-two years ago. She was a member of Picayune Church of Christ and a homemaker.
She is survived by her one son, David Moore of Picayune ;two daughters, Linda Moore Parish of Houston, Texas and Dianne Moore Berghman of Carriere;two brothers, Ovis Smith of Mandeville, Louisiana and Gerald "Sonny" Smith of Goldthwaite, Texas ;fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny & Margie Smith ;husband, Raymond Moore ;son, Michael A. Moore ;two brothers, Curtis Smith and Hugh Smith ;sister, Patsy Skiles.
