Gavin Blake Bennett, a resident of Carriere, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.
Gavin was born September 22, 2007. He was a loving grandson, brother, and son. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, sports, and listening to music.
He is survived by his grandfathers, Henry C. Dillard of Carriere, Mississippi and Allen Smith of Lafayette, Louisiana; grandmother, Theressa Bennett of Picayune, Mississippi; great-grandfather, H.C. Dillard and great-grandmother, Dorothy Dillard; mother and father, Ashley Smith and Cecil Bennett, of Picayune, Mississippi; two brothers, Trenton Ray Bennett, and Brycen Kade Bennett, of Carriere, Mississippi; two sisters, Brooklyn Grace Bennett, and Kamri Elizabeth Bennett; uncle, Justin (Courtney) Smith of Carriere, Mississippi; two aunts, Amanda Smith and Brandi Bennett; and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Kimberly Bertel Dillard of Carriere; cousin, Aubrey Jade Smith of Picayune; great-grandparents, Donald and Betty Famalaro of Townsend, Tennessee; and Candy Bennett of Texas.
A graveside service will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 at Gipson Cemetery on West Union Road, Picayune, MS. Services will be officiated by Bro. James Reeves and Bro. Scott Downes.
