Gelika Gayle Montgomery

Gelika Gayle Montgomery, 83, of Picayune, MS passed peacefully Tuesday morning (Feb. 27, 2024) in her home with family. Born May 28, 1940 in Seymour, TX. She lived in Amarillo, TX before Picayune, MS. Gek, as she was known, was an amazing cookie and cake maker, passionate animal lover and a stay at home mother. Survivors include Monty Montgomery, her husband of 63 loving years, two sons, Michael E. Montgomery and Matthew L. Montgomery; a daughter, Joyce Michelle Mehaffey; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bobby Hines of Wichita Falls, TX and Virginia Roherty of Santa Rosa, CA.
